I couldn't get a refund as the room was prepaid through a discount site. The initial impression of the room wasn't great, with dead insects in the bathroom and a strong smell of mildew and cigarette smoke.

I had a nice stay at the hotel. The rooms were enormous and very clean and comfortable, but there was a slight smell to the sheets even though they were changed daily. The service was outstanding, with friendly and professional staff. The location was convenient, close to the casino area and Prien Lake Mall, making it a good choice when in the Lake Charles area. However, the dining experience could have been better, especially concerning the morning service. Overall, it was a positive experience.

The hotel had a horrible smell like damp mold but the rooms were very spacious, clean, comfortable, and cozy. The service more than made up for the shortcomings, with exceptional and super friendly staff who even deducted from our bill. The location, though very nice and convenient for accessing a variety of places, could 've included breakfast like other hotels do.
